Samambaia / Calaguala (Polypodium Decumanum)

Samambaia, or Calaguala, or Polypodium Decumanum:

A rainforest plant that is:
- Immunomodulating/Antimutagenic
- Antipsoriatic
- Neuroprotective
- Skinprotective
- Cough suppressive
- Anti-inflamatory
- Diuretic
- Detoxifying

I have it in powder form and take 1 gram of it daily, internally. The adviced dosage is 1 to 2 grams twice a day. It seems to definitely help with my skin problems so far (psoriasis and some minor fungal issues). I've only been taking it for a few days now, I hope I can make some more final positive statements in the future, mainly about the antipsoriatic activity. I'm also interested in the neuroprotective properties that are attributed to this plant.
The diuretic and detoxifying effects were also noticed.

Not much, other than that it definitely helped with my skin issues. Not a miracle cure, but diminished symptoms nevertheless when used daily for a few weeks. I haven't used it externally yet (I'll try that when things start to flair up again, but they haven't so far and I hope they won't).
I'm having a severe case of the flu atm, and it helps with that too (the cough suppressing properties mostly). I also found out it helped me with my high blood pressure. This is a botanical that I want to keep in my arsenal.
