Sumatra Red Vein (Kratom.eu)

With 7 grams:
Onset 25 minutes. And... yikes. Is this a strong, bitter and pungent tasting mother or what... disgusting. I usually don't mind the Kratom taste, but this is something else. Anyway, on with the review. This Sumatra Red is relatively strong. I have only the Bikhuk Sumatra Red for comparison (not too much Sumatra around it seems) and that's definitely weaker. I know Sumatra strains for the moodlift, but this one gets a 3 for that because there was some crankiness involved and I was rather quickly agitated at times. I also know them for the sedation and I gave it a 4 rating, but it's bordering 5. All in all I don't think this is special enough for me to buy again. It's stronger and perhaps a tad nicer than Bikhuk's Sumatra Red, but it lacks more moodlift. And I hated the taste. There are better reds out there.
